The Latteria Perenzin with its cheeses boasts prestigious national and international awards. A production reality that has always stood out for its passion and attention to quality: from the collection of local milk, to production, and aging with selected raw materials.

AVAILABLE TASTINGS:

  • VISIT TO THE PREMIATA LATTERIA PERENZIN MUSEUM & GUIDED TASTING OF 4 CHEESES

Customers will visit, accompanied by a guide, the Premiata Latteria Perenzin Museum and the aging warehouses, immersing themselves in the family’s history and ancient traditions. At the end of the tour, a guided tasting of 4 cheeses will follow.

COST: €25 per person

DURATION: 1.5 hours

WHEN: From Tuesday to Sunday by reservation: 4:30 pm in Italian – 11:00 am in English

  • BECOME A MASTER CHEESE AGING EXPERT FOR A DAY: Create your own Aged Caciotta!

In addition to the guided tour of the Premiata Latteria Perenzin Museum and the aging warehouses, guests will have access to the Golden Room, the Top Secret experimentation room of the Perenzin Dairy. They will then create their very own aged caciotta: through sensory analysis of spices and aromas, they will personalize it as they prefer (and, of course, take it home if they care for it like true Master Aging Experts!). The experience concludes with a tasting of 4 aged cheeses in the Degustarium.

  • CHEESE MAKING EXPERIENCE Become a Cheesemaker for a Day!

In the panoramic garden of the Az. Agricola Castello di Formeniga, participants will engage in a practical lesson delving into the world of cheesemaking, where, starting from warm milk, a fresh caciotta will be made. After a short car journey, a guided tour of the Premiata Latteria Perenzin Museum and the aging warehouses will follow. Finally, a guided tasting of 4 cheeses will be held in the Degustarium.

THE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Cheesemaking experience at Az. Agricola Castello di Formeniga

For groups of fewer than 4 people: March 30th/April 27th/May 25th/June 29th/July 27th/August 31st/September 28th/October 26th – 2:30 pm in Italian – 9:00 am in English. PS. Other people may join the group without notice.
For groups of more than 4 people, the time and day can be arranged.

In case of rain, the experience will still take place within the company, weather permitting.

  • SUPER GOLD TOUR WITH EMANUELA PERENZIN

You will be accompanied on a unique journey directly by the owner Emanuela Perenzin (Best Professional 2012 at Alma Caseus, Master Taster Onaf, Garde et Juré de la Guilde International des Fromagers), who will guide you on a visit to the Premiata Latteria Perenzin Museum, a journey full of family anecdotes, international awards, and work tools. Together you will discover the secrets of cheese aging through the five senses. You will have access to the Golden Room, the Top Secret experimentation room of the Perenzin Dairy and the Caveau of Special Reserve Cheeses. Finally, you will be guided in a tasting of 4 selected cheeses that have won the Super Gold at the World Cheese Awards, paired with 4 local wines.
