ACTIVITIES WITH CHILDREN
Villa Clementina and the surrounding area offer plenty of activities for a fun family day out: creative workshops, animals, parks, nature and small adventures.
We have selected some of our favourite experiences, starting with those available directly at Villa Clementina and continuing with activities that are a little further away by car.
1. LAVENDER EXPERIENCES – VILLA CLEMENTINA
You don’t need to go far: some activities for the whole family can be organised directly at Villa Clementina.
Our lavender experiences are available for a minimum of 4 participants, and some of them are particularly enjoyable for children.
PAINTING WITH LAVENDER
A creative activity where children and adults can have fun with colours and lavender, letting their imagination run free.
It is one of the experiences we especially recommend for families.
CREATE YOUR OWN LAVENDER WAND
A small hands-on workshop where you can learn how to make a traditional lavender wand, using lavender stems and flowers.
Children can create something with their own hands and take home a special souvenir of their experience.
WALK THROUGH THE LAVENDER FIELD
A relaxing walk to discover our lavender, its fragrance and its characteristics.
Experiences must be booked in advance, and the availability of activities in the lavender field naturally depends on the season and flowering period.
For more information, please ask at reception.
2. REFRONTOLAND – REFRONTOLO
Refrontoland is an outdoor park surrounded by greenery where families can spend a few enjoyable hours with an 18-hole mini golf course, children’s play area, animals and sports activities.
It is a great option for anyone looking for something simple and fun without planning a full excursion.
IMPORTANT: opening days and times vary throughout the year, so we recommend checking before your visit.
3. LIVELET PARK – REVINE LAGO
One of our favourite activities for families.
The Livelet Educational Archaeological Park recreates an ancient pile-dwelling village and gives children the opportunity to discover how people lived in prehistoric times through visits and hands-on activities.
The park is located on the shores of the Revine Lakes, so the visit can easily be combined with a pleasant walk in nature.
Livelet is open to families on Sundays from March to November, with visits to the village and experimental archaeology activities.

4. MARTALAR’S WINGED LION – FRATTA DI TARZO
A visit to Livelet can easily be combined with a short walk to see the impressive Winged Lion created by artist Marco Martalar.
This spectacular wooden sculpture is surrounded by nature near the Revine Lakes and is particularly impressive for children because of its enormous size.
If you would like to continue walking, you can also explore the Revine Lakes and the murals of Fratta and Colmaggiore.
Our suggestion: combine Livelet + the Winged Lion + a walk by the lake for a lovely half-day family outing.
5. RANCH VAL DI RONCH – CISON DI VALMARINO
For children who love animals, Ranch Val di Ronch is surrounded by the beautiful Prosecco Hills, close to the charming village of Rolle.
The ranch offers activities with horses and ponies, including experiences suitable for children approaching the world of horse riding for the first time. Pony rides in the countryside are also available.
It can be nicely combined with a visit to Rolle or Cison di Valmarino.
6. CAGLIERON CAVES – FREGONA
A small adventure in nature that children can enjoy too.
The route takes you through caves, waterfalls and walkways along the Caglieron stream. The main route is approximately 1 km long, so it does not require a long hike.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes with good grip, as some areas can be wet and slippery.
7. PIANEZZE – VALDOBBIADENE
For families who would like to spend a few hours in the mountains, Pianezze, above Valdobbiadene, offers nature, walks and hiking opportunities around Monte Cesen.
It is particularly enjoyable during the summer, when you can escape the heat and combine an easy walk with lunch in the mountains.
8. PARCO DEGLI ALBERI PARLANTI – TREVISO
A little further away, but particularly suitable for families with younger children.
Located in the grounds of Villa Margherita, Parco degli Alberi Parlanti offers activities combining play, nature, science, history and cartoon characters.
From April to October, shows and special events for children are also organised.
It can be a great way to combine a visit to Treviso with an activity for the children on the same day.
9. NONNO ANDREA – VILLORBA
This is one of the activities located a little further from the Villa, but it can be well worth the trip, especially when seasonal events and activities for children are taking place.
Nonno Andrea is a farm with outdoor spaces, local products and activities designed for families.
In autumn, it is particularly well known for its Pumpkin Village, with decorations, games and activities for children.
We recommend checking the calendar before your visit, as the available experiences change throughout the year.
