- Val Trippera and Villages Trail in San Pietro di Feletto
The Val Trippera trail is one of the most interesting hilly itineraries for the remarkable insights it offers, ranging from botany to geology, fauna, and the history of the places. The clear waters of the Crevada stream have shaped the surface, creating furrows and deep clefts. The loop starts from Piazza Giovanni XXIII near the Parish of San Pietro and descends south, partly involving the territory of the neighboring municipality of Refrontolo. Along the way, you encounter the “grotta dea graspa” (cave of the goddess graspa), a secluded and steep place where, once upon a time, grappa was clandestinely distilled, and you come across the suggestive remains of the Crevada Mill, no longer in operation. At the ruins of the former Mill, the path goes up towards Borgo Anese, continues beyond Borgo Castagnè, and returns to the starting point passing by Borgo Frare.
